This picture was taken in Tampa, I took the center image a Tom took all the smaller ones of the same action just a diffrent angle and lens. I was 70-200 2.8 at about 115mm and Tom was 200 1.8 w/ 2x at 400mm.

Amazing shot!

Ha! 400mm was definitely way too long!

Even if you look at this shot in terms of composition, it's still good.

The bottom player stands out because he's black and is surrounded by much lighter tones. The top player because of the orange shirt and green bottle at the back.

I keep staring at it!

Well Tom was shooting with a Mark II, so eight frames a second is how he got them all, I on the other hand got lucky I was still shooting a 10D when I captured this picture.

I am not sure what "and that text floating in the air....is that neon or lcd?" is?

Well keep looking, also I was shooting the near side line and Tom was shooting across the field that is why he had the 400mm.

Amazing shot!

I got lucky, because the guy on the ground, there is another player on the ground in front of him coming at him. So I moved down the field to get them battleing it out and then Chris came down and jumped over, and bunkered him. This is the first picture in the series, and the rest looked like crap.

That is quite a shot. The timing is perfect. Good work.

I presume the guy on top is just killing the guy laying down! This is all very well constructed and presented and teamed and you are justifiably proud. If you read your posts you will notice a small lack of clarity and overly shortened words. Slow down. We aren't going anywhere. We like what you are doing. So, where is the big colored splat on the prone guy's back? :-)

DwightMcCann,
I am truly sorry for my lack of command of the English language, but I was always an art, math, and science buff, not very fond of reading and writing. That is one of the reasons my responses are short and choppy. As for the splat look in the lower right hand Corner and you can see the splat on the top of his head. Also thank you so much for the kind words of praise and encouragement on the photo. You are also right I should slow down and think out my response a little better, so It doesn't look like a five year old wrote them. lol Dwight, please feel free to critique my photos or my responses anytime you want, I really do appreciate the feedback.

Sports photography is all about being in the right spot at the right time and getting really lucky. I think it is one of the best sports shots I have ever taken.

Center shot is great James. Perfect timing.

The head might be one of the best places to get hit in. The worst is in the neck or the back, now those hurt.

I dont think Lasoya retired , If you go to PBnation.com , Teams section and then go to Infamous , Hes on there. You can probly contact him like that. And ya the VIP section was awsome , Free drinks , Hot women and a bunch of pros were there. I got a autograph from Ollie Lang from Dynasty when they were chillen in there.

I hope you didn't see it PB2X, They were going to buy it from me and then they backed out at the last minute and said they didn't want it. They got a hi res copy with almost the same overlay that is on this one. Thanks though for the WOW!!, Specially coming from someone like you that shots millions of paintball pics.

I got to hang with the guys from Dynasty about 2 months ago when they came to a local indoor (www.ejampb.com (http://www.ejampb.com)) to do a promo for the new three man league on WGN. I shot hundreds of pictures and shared a few beers with the guys afterwords. Video link from ejam the night Dynasty was there http://www.ejampb.com/media/e-jam-dynasty.wmv

lol - in APPL if you jump over any bunker, including a snake, you're eliminated - potentially a 1 for 1 if it's deemed intentional...
Seanbell - the p2000 is great, great to have in the field and better than a laptop for showing shooters their photos in the tent.

I have only had it a few days and it is GREAT so far, Picture is great, fast, easy to use, I am so glad I went with this rather then another laptop.

Now common among much youth (meaning under 35) ... spells "leet" as in "lite", from "elite", meaning the top or best.

I am confused!! First 1337 and now this!

They are the same: "1337" is a "hacker's" spelling of "lite" (sounds like leet), which is a short form of "elite" ... so it was a compliment using a vernacular that I thought you might be familiar with ... oh, well, turn 60 and turn stupid, eh?

You know it really is a small world. I was searching for reviews on this lens and what did I happen across. I am currently a photographer in Arkansas but perhaps am best know for some of my freelance work in the area of believe it or not paintball. I was also a pretty good player. In fact I remember when Chris Lasoya walked on the field wanting to play with Washington Reign way back in the day. I later played against the young Lasoya quite often in the Northwest and in my many years.....

I have since dropped off the face of the paintball sphere but have picked up doing some fashion/glamour stuff. Still have that deep down love of the game though after 13 years of playing...... Holler at me some time and lets shoot the stuff.

See you in the middle.

I took this picture with a 10D, and it is no much better then the XT.
The one thing is I had a 70-200 2.8 Is and that make a difference.

can the rebel XT capture the same image?
