Hi,
My mom has added a digital camera to her Xmas wish list, and being a good son I would like to get it for her.
I've been to Best Buy and Circuit City numerous times already looking, but I just can't tell much about the cameras in the store.
I figuered it would be best to ask the people who actually have the cameras, use them, and have opinions on them.
My mom isn't a exactly a techie, so it would have to be easy to use.
I also like the 2.5 to 3 inch LCD displays that are out now. That would be great for her.
I'm looking to spend around $300.

What are my best options?

Thanks,

Soon to be Daddy
Chad

Chad, try www.dpreview.com and click the link for Cameras > Canon. You'll find many models with user comments or full test reviews. Happy hunting!

The Canon SD series camera are great it is compact and simple. I fits neatly in a purse and the delay is not bad.

I've narrowed it down to the S80 or the A620.

Any recommendations?

There's a significant difference in price between the A620 and the S80, isn't there?

I'm getting the S80 next week; small is good, but that's just my preference, I like keeping stuff in my pockets where possible rather than hanging off my belt or shoulder.
