DIgital rebel XT viewfinder problem?!?! Its brand new too!!!

I just bought a digital rebel xt, but the green text in the viewfinder is barely readable. Whats wrong? Should i return it?

I went to CC today and saw another XT , and its text looked pretty sharp.

Have you tried adjusting the dioptric knob until it becomes clear. It's in page 42 of your manual if you haven't seen it yet.

I tried the dioptric but still nothing. Its still very blurry.

If you just bought it, take it back to the store for an exchange.

And at the same time, compare it to another one that they have to make sure it's not your eyes...;)

But yeah, brand new, so take it back and go 'oi, not quite right here mate...' and get an exchange.
