Can anyone help with this problem?
I have a Digital Ixus 400 which I bought in Feb 2004 and about three weeks ago while taking photos the camera shut down due to low battery power. I changed the battery and started up again the camera reported a memory card error. I formatted the card in the camera which then shut down again, recording an E50 error number. Every time I tried the same thing happened, even with different cards, and the camera insisted that the cards were all 3.2mb when in fact they were either 512mb or 1024mb. All the cards worked fine in my other camera, an EOS 350D. After two days the camera started working fine again but had reset the image numbers back to the start (the last pic before the fault was IMG_4247). Yesterday the same thing happened and as yet the camera refuses to work. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
