Here are some photos from today's festival. The light was so poor and I had to use ISO 800. Please tell me what you think.

Well they look pretty good to me. Like 2,3 and 4. Third one is really good.

I agree with Bad Iron, they look pretty good. #1 might be a bit harsh but the rest look great. Did you use a noise removal tool?

Thanks. No, I didn't use one. I might use Neat Image if I inted to print some out. ;)

Great images!
ISO 800? Have no fear! That's why you own a DSLR. Neither film nor compact digital cams can get shots this good in conditions like that.

ISO 800? Have no fear! That's why you own a DSLR. Neither film nor compact digital cams can get shots this good in conditions like that.

Now I want a 20D!I came to the same conclusion, so I bought one. :)
My wife and I do a lot of theatre work, so I figured it would be good to have a second digital body rather than one of us shooting film. Not only is digital cheaper (we sell CDs of the images to cast & crew), but it really is a better tool than film in that environment.
