As a first try with 3D, Philby, this is very good! :D You have much potential.
At a first long look the immediate aspect requiring attention is the vertical alignment. Choose a distinctive point in the left chip and you should find that same point at the same horizontal level in the other chip. Getting that sorted, I suggest, should be a priority.
Nevertheless, way to go, Philby

Here I have got slight improvement on alignment and a correction on rotational error.
In your next attempt take care not to move closer to the subject when taking the second shot (or move away for that matter). The sideshift should be approximately 1/30th the distance from the lens to the nearest featured object. :D :D

thanks for the reply, much appreciated, as for the rotation aspect is this caused when i take the 2nd chip? as im not sure if i just move the camera a bit(30%)to the side and take the shot straight on or focus on the same spot ie one of the main shells 'horns'(this is the way i did it) or do i focus on the nearest object ie the fishing boat? as far as the verticle alignment the 'horn' on the shell is in line although the boat mast isnt ,is this the problem. as you can see i have much to learn thanks for your time

Type 3D into search function and find my stereo shots. With them are viewing hints. Tell me what you think. If you have problems I shall try to help. :)

 Unfortunately, you will never see stereo, Sony 23. Nevertheless, you can still appreciate stereo chips as 2D shots. Thanks for responding.
