This is a Barred Owl and a Redtail Hawk. Do you like?

I like them both where did you get them at a Raptor exhibition or in the wild???

Thanks......I wish I could tell you in the wild but I took them at Radnor Lake at a Raptor exhibition. I do aspire to photograph these two in the wild but have to get a longer lens as these were taken with my 70-200.

All very nice shots indeed! Numbers two and four just blew me away. AWESOME is all I can say for those two shots!

Excellent shots, very crisp. Amazing detail. I want to see a Barred Owl in the wild!!!

Thanks everyone.. I feel like I have the head of an owl it is so swolen. I was very happy with these shots. i do agree that the Hawk is more crisp .. That was probably because it was a little farther away, but I like the Bokeh of the Owl. I was really focasing on the eyes and seeing the Owl was so close it makes him a little soft on the edges I think.

I too want to photograph them in the wild. I think my next lens will help me do that. I think I will be getting the 400 f5.6 L soon.
