Just got the 10d, looking over the manual, noted warnings about using the Camera in high ambient temperatures. I am travelling to Arizona in 2 weeks, any advice. I expect temps to be 110+

I live here in Phoenix - it's been around 105. I just got the 10D a couple of weeks ago. No issues yet with heat. However I haven't been out all day carrying it around. The longest I've been out is 2 hours. I don't carry it in a case. I'll be out Saturday and Sunday for something like 6 hours each day. I'll write back and let you know what gets toasted first. Me or the camera.

You may bring a whole new meaning to the term "hot pixels".

Thanks for the input. I used to live in Phoenix, so I know the drill. I usually carried a cooler for my cameras and film. We are staying in Phoenix for a few days then heading up to Canyon de Chelly. Can't wait to try the 10d in AZ!
