I love looking at hockey pictures. I must take 200 shots at my sons game each time and you would think it would get boring but I can't wait to get home and put them on the computer and start cropping and fixing and looking for that great one to make my desktop until the next game. okay enough about me great pictures keep them coming I love to compare others with my work. I'll try and get some out....

900 -- thanks for the kind words. I recall you're doing OK at shooting hockey too.

rebellearner -- I agree, shooting hockey never seems to get boring. Besides the excitement of the game is the challenge of shooting erratic fast motion in low light. Lotta fun. Look forward to seeing your pics, please post.

Tong -- yup, great game. thoroughly addictive. fast pace, suprises, teamwork, and amazing athletics.

Dan -- ice rink time is valuable, and hockey competes with figure skating and so forth, so hockey games are often at bad hours. practices are even worse. Stick & puck practice at my local rink is monday 5:30 AM. and you know what -- I'm often there!!!
