I'm often elected to shoot at events like hall parties and weddings. I'm strictly amateur but getting better all the time. I suspect there is no easy answer to my question but would like opinions from you folks. Here it is...I often find that my table group shots blow-out people closer to the lens which, heretofore, I've chalked up to being a necessary evil in order to properly expose the majority of people along the sides and back of the table. Just wondering if there is a quick and dirty trick that the experts use that'll help the situation. Of course, ideally you would arrange the people to reduce or eliminate this. I find, however, that often people are reluctant to cooperate in this regard. Your comments and advice will be appreciated.
