¿ 10D = Tank ?

How rugged is the 10D? It feels pretty solid, but has anyone put it through a tough trip? Is it a tank like EOS 3/5?

I have just been on a year trip with my EOS5. It took some serious battering. I have just got the EOS10D and my only complaint about its ruggedness is that the LCd panel is not protected against getting a smash

I just took it on its first assignment. It wasn't in the deepest jungles somewhere, but it was two flights to vegas, 3 days of shooting and two flights home. At ringside it took the usual abuse of dangling, being bumbed and dragged along the side of the ring. A few lens changes etc.

It took it all well and everything went well. Most importantly it took great shots that the magasines had just minutes after the event.

Sometimes the airports are more evil to cameras than the event and no problems there aswell.

Handy to know that the cover can be replaced so cheaply :)
