Hi,

I just bought an A520 two days ago and are quite pleased with it. However, I can't find the icon to set the continuous shooting mode.

According to the manual, I should be able to pick from among the following:

Drive mode (Single-shot, continuous, 10 sec self-timer, 2 sec self-timer, custom self-timer)

But all I can see on that screen is

Drive mode (Single-shot, 10 sec self-timer, 2 sec self-timer, custom self-timer)

Did I miss something obvious?

Thanks

Greetings-You have to switch to P or any other manual mode and press the function button to select and change your drive mode to continous.

I've already packed my camera.. but I think the continuous shooting mode you were talking about, that has an icon of three little squares, is just that as long as you hold down the shutter button all the way, the camera will keep taking picture after picture until it is released.

You are right monkeyknuckles. I was in Auto mode and the icon for the continuous shooting mode was not available. It's strange because if I choose the custom self-timer mode in Auto, I can elect to have the camera shoots multiple frames after the timer goes off.

Thanks

You're welcome.. My A510 is the same way. I also noticied that if the flash is off, continuous shooting is faster too...
Cheers
