Anyone have this problem or know what the deal is. The 10D tethered via USB to the MAC worked fine until strobes were connected to the camera then at ever attempt of taking a shot an ERROR 99 message would appear on the camera...any ideas?

Have you checked the trigger voltage of the strobes?
Canon's official line is that no more than 6 volts should be applied to either the PC socket or the hotshoe.
Have you tried the camera with any other flash since, a high enough voltage can cause permanent damage!

Yeah. The problem isnt the strobes though, because I unplugged the 10d from the MAC and then it worked fine. Its when combining the tethering and strobes that the camera gets the error. As soon as I untethered it was fine and the camera worked without a flaw.
