What are the rules of thumb in setting the color temp on a canon 10D?
I process RAW images.
Thank you!

Erick,
The manual gives guidelines on page 51. But without a colour meter it will be hard to set WB in the 10D using K values.
Shooting raw, you have the advantage of being able to adjust the colour temp during conversion to get a result that you like.

Thanks Roger.
So because I shoot RAW, should I just leave the setting on AWB at shooting?

Using AWB is fine. White balance (color temperature) takes place during the post processing and has no real effect on the RAW images. Using your RAW conversion program like ZoomBrowser or Capture One, the displayed image will default the WB to the camera setting. However, you can adjust the WB setting at anytime and readjust the image. Again, the WB camera setting will not alter the RAW image.
