Hi! I'm totally new to this as you can probably tell by asking this but I have NO clue how to get my raw formatted pictures OFF of my card! (I have an S50) Someone told me I needed a converter, I downloaded one but still doesn't find any. Still shows them on my camera! Any help would be greatly appreciated - have some great pics of my son and his grandparents on there! : )

Hi Michele, the best thing you can do is to buy you a USB 2.0 cardreader, costs about 10 $. Insert your memory card in the cardreader and connect it to your computer. If you have a computer with WINDOWS XP you will see the cardreader in WINDOWS EXPLORER as a drive. Now you can download all the pictures to your computer. To convert RAW images into TIFF or JPG files you need a RAW converter. You can try RAW SHOOTER ESSENTIALS. It's a very good RAW converter and it's free.
Go to: www.pixmantec.com (http://www.pixmantec.com) for more info. BTW welcome to the forum and good luck.
Merry Christmas ... ;)

Let's not be rude.
Welcome to the forum Michele.
A thorough perusal of you manual would be in order at this time. If you have transferred all your images to your computer then it is safe to format your card in the camera which will remove all the image files from your card and you can start taking more fun photos.
