Just to show what a small place the internet is, someone on Flickr found this and sent me an email about it ;) :o
Interestingly the hit count on the photo sets went up by a couple of thousand overnight.

Well... you do have a bit of a gift for macro photography, Brian. There are many terrific shots on those Flickr pages.

OT - how about all the flashing and moving avatars on that site. Eewww... very annoying. Or maybe it's just me being intolerant.

Your work is quite exceptional so I'm not surprised to see people talking about it. Maybe you could persuade the BBC to let you go on location with them when they're doing one of their natural history productions.

We already knew how good your photography was, it took them a while to figure it out. As always, great work.:D :D :D

Brian, your work speaks for itself. I hope all this kudos leads to something fun for you: maybe a commission for the cover of National Geographic or something! ;) :D

Thanks for the comments all,
Must admit enjoy the kudos but the thought of it turning into anything else is a bit frightening- I enjoy taking the pics as a hobby :)

Well deserved Brian. I'm not a macro shooter, but I have certainly enjoyed your work. Congrats!

I heard B&H was going to start selling those macro stabilizer poles . . . . for $50 apiece.

Thanks John.
Steven- Nothing would suprise me ;) - They'd need to do it as a package with a matching flash grip though :D .

That forum must be popular- the views on my pics has gone up 16000 in total to 40000 overnight. I normally also get one contact added per day this morning there are 26!

Just an update. My flickr account went crazy over Christmas eve and Christmas day.
Ended up this morning with 85000 views up from 16000 before this started. Apparently the reason was not just the first thread- that got "digged" whatever that means here as a newsworthy item ??? :)

and you then seem to end up with chain reaction where the diggs are Digged or Blogged.
