Good shots of us everyday people doing what we do. The watermarks degrade the viewing experience.

That whole strike mess just re-affirms my distaste for unions. Out here in California, we may have too many cars on our roads, and traffic may be bad, but no union can stop our transportation cold like that.
Oh, and some nice photo-journalism there.

Great captures. It was really hectic in the city during the strike, good thing you were able to take shots.

Nice shots, but the watermarking is offputting.

No close in portraiture shots? Post 'em if you got them -its what I like and it is Christmas!

While no one can argue that the union in this case made a disasterous blunder, don't paint unions with such a broad brush. I'm a union member and a New York State Employee. We have never, would never, could never strike, and if we did we'd probably be fired for it. But our union stays at the bargaining table, negotiates decent, fair wages for us along with benefit packages that workers might not otherwise have.

I don't think Santa would be happy hearing discussions of Unions here. As for me, I'm trying to figure out how that first image fits in?

Dwight, you're probably right. I just couldn't let that statement go unanswered.
As far as the photos are concerned, I was wondering the same thing, but as to numbers 1 and 2. And how come I don't see any watermarks?

MD, yes, I am right about that :p ... I have a lot to say also (that I am keeping to myself) ... if it does not improve the situation then it is just public mental masturbation ... pretty disgusting thought, eh? Thinking about that helps me hold my tongue! :-)
As for no watermarks, I think Anttor, being from Jersey rather than NY, is able to accept constructive criticism for its worth and simply uploaded images without watermarks and without having to announce his action ... so different from us, huh?

the first two are just from around the city, as the title suggests

Dwight, actually I was referring to a poster above who said that the watermarks were distracting. I don't see any, but my aging eyes ain't what they used to be.
