The only thing I would do is fill the gap of the pedestal on the right bottom.

Its a nice shot and some creative PS additions. For me, the part that doesn't work is just the choice of background colors. They just don't seem to go with the subject. But, hey, that's just me, and it may work very well for you and for a lot of others. It's really just my personal feeling on the background, but your creativity and technique seem to work fine.
