Anyone know how to change the default filename prefix. IMG_xxxx to something else?
I have 2 cameras and want to have unique names. It's a SD450 camera.
Thanks

To my knowledge it's impossible to change the prefix in the filenames. You can do that only in professional camera's.
The best thing you can do is to change the file names while downloading it to your computer or when you have
downloaded the files to your computer. There's sofware that let you change the filenames in whatever you need.

Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Thanks. That is rediculous. Why would they hard code that in?

It's part of the international standard conventions for digital camera file and folder naming (that's where the "DCIM" comes from).
