I head out this morning hoping to get some shots of surfers at San Onofre State Beach. The surf wasn't the "epic" surf I'd heard about, but I guess it was still higher than average.
I learned something today: I do not have a long enough lens to shoot surfers. I even resorted to trying the 70-300mm QCL, with a 1.4X, and it didn't seem to be enough.
So, I drove down I-5 until I came to a "view point". I stopped, and these little guys were everywhere:
