Have not seen to many new train shots lately, so her is one of mine.

This one is from Christmas Eve. The CSX was running lots of weird stuff on that day. Here is Q335-24 with I guess from a little research, this is one of a kind paint Alstom (GCFX) 3072. Bad lighting (Had a nice sunrise though) but there were a too many trains in the area to go elsewhere to shot this one.

Sorry, must have missed this one. I've had a nasty headache for a couple of days and haven't been paying attention to the board much... but I like it! The first shot looks cool with the lighting. The paint scheme is pretty interesting too.

Jon.

Thats not a one of a kind, I work for NS, we pick up engines from alstom all the time they have a couple of switcher engines at their plant in hornell NY that look just like that one.

In that paint scheme? As far as I was aware that paint scheme was one of a kind for the Chicago Railway Supply Association show back in (I belive) 2000.

Hey Kaine, I ran the second image through Auto Levels in PS and it improved the overall look of the picture. You might want to give that a try and see what I mean. :)

Do you ever venture through Chattanooga? I've not seen the Alstom design, but I see plenty of NS (of course), ex-Conrail (quality?), and some UP and BNSF units. Even the occasional CSX, but I'm definately along NS tracks.

I didn't think so. The trainmen I've talked to here seem to go about as far north as either Lexington, KY or Cincinnatti, OH. Must be a regional thing, which makes sense.
