Iam making a Flash website for my photography. What is the average/maximum size the flash site should be?

0kb... in all seriousness - id skip flash based websites as a whole. they look cool for a minute but are usually slow to load, evenfor those on high speed, never show the images big enough and the transitions between viewing the photos tends to take too long.

the average person on the internet spends about 7 seconds on a web page... if they don't truely luv the site, they leave. its also a fact that if a site frustrates them, they will leave.

my experiance in running websites for the last 5+ years is keep it simple, clean, well organized and most importantly, dynamic. if you can't keep adding content, you will give your viewer no reason to come back

I'm with Mike on this. I always lead clients away from full flash sites. I'm of the mind that Flash should be used as an accent to a site and not be the site.

Another thing I really hate about flash sites is that you can't bookmark anything. Ditto goes for frames, but at least there are ways around that.
