I just came back from Disney and took over 1,000 shots for a 7 day trip. I kept about 900 of them. So, I was thinking, maybe I'll keep track of all the shots I take over the holidays and see how many I end up with. Starting on XMas eve and into Christmas, I've taken over 400. That prompted me to think...imagine if my parents had a digital camera back in the 70s when I was a young kid. My daughter is going to have her entire life digitally documented. No dusty boxes to put photos in, just nice storage devices, cds/dvds, etc., etc.

So folks, how many flicks are you up to for this holiday season (lets talley 'em after new years).

I'm 435 and counting...

For me. Zero. I actually let a friend at work borrow my XT. He had it since Wednesday. But, it was alright, becuase he had family visiting and also has his daughter. My Family is in Florida.

SuzyView, I like that pic. Reminds me of back home, minus the snow of course.

I shot right around 100... trying different things, taking them at night, of people's Christmas lights and setups. I am keeping about half. I am new to the whole night shooting / digital rebel xt... I am learning. And am having fun doing it.

About 300 or so. I don't really keep track. I do quite a few portraits over the holidays, and as is the nature of these things, people tend to blink (especially my youngest daughter), so lot of those get tossed. Of course, there is the opening of Christmas presents, lights, the tree, etc.
