WELL...2000 posts! Seems like just yesterday, I was choosing a username (took some deep thought, eh? ;-) ), and now here I am..gooooold. :p
It's been awfully pleasant here the past 4 months or so. I've learned an AWFUL lot, and I think I've helped a bit, too. Looking forward to hanging around for quite a while longer! :-D
Thanks for all of your help everyone.

Congrats, not bad total in 4 months.

That's quite a milestone for 4 months, Ron. Congrats. I am quite the blabbermouth on this place too but not as much as Tim. He's uncatchable!

Did a little math:
2000 posts - posts to date = 689
689 / 3.65 avg posts per day = 188 days
At this run rate, I'll have 2000 posts by July 4th thereabouts
...now that I've had my geek-out spasm for the evening, we resume our regularly scheduled program already in progress. :) :)

Sorry, was just a poke. But was surprised to see it happen to yourself. Maybe someone like me is more deserving of that award. :)
Keep up the good work anyway.

Type too much Master Ronald? Wow ... I assumed you at least had the Sony Brainiac adapter than allows brain waves to be transmitted direct and wirelessly over the ether to any given IP address. You mean you're still using a computer? If that's the case then an extra well done ;-)

That is an amazing accomplishment. Don't you guys have better things to do? I just started in October and I love reading the posts and replying. I have never done this before. I get mad at my 2 teenagers for being moderators on teen sites. But I have read many of your comments, Ron, and you do a great job expressing yourself. You must type almost as fast as you think. ;) I appreciate the time you take to help me. Here's to 2000 more helpful replys within a few months as someone above said 188 a day. You need a life, man!

Well, it says I only do 16.65 posts per day. Doesn't seem like much at all! Yeah, I have to say, I seem to type awfully fast. I don't even make typos either, to my knowledge. Unlike SOME people we know. *cough*cds*cough* Anyway, I have a ton of fun hanging around here, checking out some talented people's work, occassionally sharing mine, and learning one hell of a lot of useful information! Thanks to everyone for making this a fun place to be! :-D

We're not men and women. We're boys and girls. No matter how old we get, we'll always be kids. :-)

Mommy's a girl.
It's worse than that. Both my parents lived into their nineties, and right up to the end, my wife and I were 'The kids.'
It's all relative.

No, actually, I very rarely do. Only on jobs, for the most part.
Also, I am rather a man of science and logic, so the latter part of your statement doesn't apply.

I just went food shopping, so I guess I was on sabbatical. :) You know, I like your thinking about being kids. Only kids can play with toys (at least that's what my sons say) and I have a lot. So, I'm happy being a kid. I'll explain that to my son tonight. Thanks!
SuzyView and Congrats! You are fun to talk to.

Tell 'em the difference between men and boys are the price of their toys.

Well, assuming that men's toys are more expensive (although I don't know these days!), I'd say that CDS has got to be the most manly man I've ever heard of, as far as "we" go.

I'm not sure if you did it on purpose, but I read this post according to British slang...
Bird = woman
Gotta love double entendres... Or maybe I'm just working too much and have my mind in the gutter....

I did think it was on purpose, but it could very well have been my overworked brain...
God, I've been sooo tired whole week. Cranky too. Doesn't help when you learn how confusing, annoying and unorganised the management at work is too...

Don't worry, Claire. It builds character.
This is a good lesson for us, though. We have a lot of non-native English speaking people on this forum, and it's perfectly reasonable to be confused about some terms, especially when they have dual meanings. I must confess occasional bewilderment at some of the terms used by our cousins from New Zealand and Australia.
IT's English, but it sure isn't my English.
