I'm thinking about buying a 10D. I am now using the G2 with excellent results. When I read many of the posting on this forum I don't understand all the information. Info like depth of field calculation with various lenses, lense speed, why my pictures are not sharp, etc. Can anyone suggest any good books that are pretty basic that will provide me with a good background on the various aspects of photography?
Thanks Much

Tom Ang's book on digital photography includes a lot of general photography.

The Joy of Photography
I think it's published by Kodak. I've got the second edition, don't know what it's on now. Excellent basic materials for an introduction to understanding camera function, attachments and theory.
