domain and hosting

I bought a domain name, which is my first and last name. Can I host that name on free hosting site and have the name rename myfirstandlastname.com?

or will it have to have the free extention on it?

Its called name masking. The place I bought mine had that option. It was in the same part as the name pointing. like this
www.ABCshots.com will point to www.gslcms.com/abcshots/photofolio/ and the browser should still say www.ABCshots.com
