I've been trying unsuccessfully to get Remote Capture working under Mac OS X with a new s400.
The software loads but won't connect to the camera.
Canon's website has some pages that say it should work, and others that say it shouldn't work.
Canon's Customer Support people say it should work.
But it doesn't work.
I'm wondering whether it's a software problem, a firmware problem, or a camera problem? In other words, will it be fixed by a software upgrade at a future date, or is it hopeless.
Despite my frustration with Remote Capture, I must say that the s400 is impressive in every way. A great little camera with incredible power for it's size.
