New G3 owner here. I just stuck the cf card in the camera and started shooting. Then I noticed in some forum questions/comments something about formatting first. Being a 32 the card filled up quickly. In the meatime I had picked up a 128 card. I did click on "format" for that . . . but since I didn't format the 32 card, what will happen when I go to (try) to download the images???
I hope this made some sort of sense.
You all are great, and I've seen some great G3 shots since I've been going through past posts.
I'm very encouraged and looking forward to what I can do with my new camera.
