Is this rubbish or not too bad? Should I try and remove the building on the right, or crop it right down to the lampost on the left, and the man on the right. Or should it end up in the great rubbish bin in cyberspace?
All critisism welcome; but I cry easily.....

Hi Jenga
It's not a bad image at all. It just needs to be less confused. I would loose the statue completly and concentrate on the man and the tower. I've cheated by taking out the poles at the front and making the sky less boring! If you don't like to retouch images this much then I would suggest this kind of crop, though some might see it differently?

Thanks Martin :)
I love what you've done with it! I must learn all this PS trickery stuff!)
Love the sky, but I'm not sure about the colour . I've given it another quick going over....

No problem! I like your new sepia look but the clouds have lost thier detail. Maybe it was intentional?

No, it was more of a 'don't really know what I'm doing' type of thing.....

I've updated mine with a sepia look though your does have more contrast which I like. What version of Photoshop do you use? Don't worry you will get better in time :)

Thanks Martin - your's is much better than mine!
I mainly use PSP7 - I do have PS7, but I'm finding it really hard to just play around with it and teach myself (which is my normal method of learning anything!). I need to work through some tutorials really - it's getting more and more frustrating knowing what can be done without having the know-how to do it!
Thanks again :D
