Neck strap for G3

I am really frustrated with G3 neck strap. I've tried to use it, but have removed it every time! It is too small, too thin, too short, too stiff ... all that renders it useless to me.

Has anyone found a solution for this? Would a regular EOS strap fit? Or any other brand?

Please don't sudgest some website in the US, which is completely useless to people in EU and other parts of the world (especially since EU people will now have to pay VAT when they buy rather when on deliverly ... blah).

Try your local camera store and look at the straps that are made of neoprene. They are stretchy and absorb much of the weight of the camera, not that the G3s weigh much. But that is what I am putting on mine. I use OpTech ones for my EOS1n.

When I bought my G3 I traded in my EOS Elan. I kept the nice wide EOS strap and it fits the G3 fine. Much more comfortable than the one that came with the G3.

I didn't care too much for the strap that came with the G3, so pulled out my old strap for my A2. It's the Domke Gripper. On the front side of the leather it is stamped with Canon Professional.What is nice is that the strap has two clamps on each side and the shoulder section comes off while leaving the two camera ties on. This can double for a hand strap or if you have the Domke photo vest, the clamps will clamp to the vest and hang off of that. It's by far the best versital strap on the market.

Thanks guys. I am going to look for a nice wide EOS strap.

What really drove me crazy was that witht the stock strap the G3 was hanging under my arm pit all the time :) It looks like an oversized necklace on me.
