Excellent captures, that ice coating has special meaning to us in So. California, since we don't know what it looks like.;-) Happy New Year.

Nice shots Wayne,,excellent detail......the iced branches really add to the environment of the shot. Its got to be tough for them to hang on even with those sharp little claws. I went out late ( 09:30)this morning and thought I would catch up to you guys if you stayed in the Owl's territory. I was out for hours and found 0.

Sweet shots, looks very cold. I always wonder how they make it when it get so cold out. Especially the nights.

Well Wayne , you know what i always say?
To heck with it , who needs the snowies when you have the cheeks anyway?
And at the end of the day the darn things are always too far away to shoot them anyway.
And a happy new year to you too my friend.:D All the best.
