Do you print many of your photos or keep them on disk only?
[I mostly keep mine on disk, rarely print]

[When I do print, I send them out]

If you send them out, what service do you use?
[I've been using shutterfly]

Do you backup your photos, if so to what kind of media?
[I'm backing up to an external hard drive]

Do you ever make slide shows that can play on a DVD player? If so, with what software?
[I've made a few with Ulead DVD photo slide show]

What else do you do with your photos?
[Save for the future, email to friends and family]

Do you print many of your photos or keep them on disk only?
I print some of the good ones (8x10) but I always keep them on disk for as long as I can. Then I delete them to make room for more pictures.

Do you use your own photo printer or send them out?
I send out for pictures I want to frame or hang up on the wall. Otherwise, if I need a print, I just print them on my Epson printer

If you send them out, what service do you use?
Walmart--it's very convenient for me because I work very close to one and can pick them up at the store without having to pay shipping and handling. I can also return the pictures that I don't like to the store and get my money back right away.

I initially started backing up to DVD-R but then realized that a DVD holds TOO many pictures. If something were to happen to that one DVD, I'd be out a LOT of pictures. I now back up to CD-Rs making two copies of each.

Do you ever make slide shows that can play on a DVD player? If so, with what software?
I use Ulead Video Studio and Ulead DVD Movie Factory to burn my DVD or VCD slide shows

What else do you do with your photos?
I put them up on my online gallery on the web to share with family and friends.

*I keep folders for each month of the year on my hard-drive. Then every month I burn all pictures onto a CD and label it with the month and year taken*
