New years eve was particularly cold here. And I thought of sharing a picture with
you.

I moved from upstate NY to VA 5 years ago and let me tell you, it's been great! They've had about 5 snow storms already and nothing melts until May. But I do envy you UncleDoug, CA is so nice this time of year. Still, enjoying the 40-50 degree days. No complaints.

Been pretty nice in Tahoe all things considered.
However, I've never seen it rain sooooo much at lake level - 6,228.
Finally got snow in the yard, 4 inches, but the Sierra crest got about 12 feet over the past week.
Out of hand.

Bah, thats nothing, go live in Saskatchewan for a winter or two....

where in VA are you? i live in Baltimore.
Here in Baltimore we got lucky and had a really nice new years eve, not too cold.

Yow, we had a cold NYE but it was only -7C here. Its been quite nice the last few days, +2-5C and its supposed to continue all week. No snow at all. Hurray for global warming! :)
