Nursing Bears and Jousting Rinos

From our family outing to the Denver Zoo with the kids and grandkids:

The twin polar bear cubs are still nursing - and mom still tolerates them.

The two rhinoceroses had a long head-butting session. One of them seems a bit worse for the wear.

Thanks, Dimitri and Stan. The Denver Zoo is rather antiquated, by current standards. They are making an effort to upgrade (slowly) from the old inside rooms and outside pens to somethng more natural. Certainly, the large animals need something closer to wild habitat then they have now.
