I saw an advertisement from Gateway on a magazine this week offering the 10D on monthly payments, just like they do with computers... But they don't have it on stock :-(

Can anybody suggest another place where I can buy the camera on monthly payments ? Thank you ! Celso.

Me thinks you would be cheaper off taking out a loan from your bank. Generally the interest rate would be better. Otherwise check with your local large-scale electronics store;Best-Buy or COMPUSA.

Yance is right that shopping your own financing resources first may save you some interest. Check where you already bank for a personal loan, since you are after all, already established with them. If you belong to a credit union, they may have good rates on signature loans. In any either event, make sure that you determine how much it’s going to cost you by the time you pay it off. Don’t be fooled by low minimum payments. Find out if you can pay it off earlier. You can easily end up spending more than twice the cost of the camera when it’s all over. Good luck!

The last time I checked Celso, CircuitCity.com and CompUSA.com had them in stock. I heard that BestBuy.com was compromised and will be a while before their site is back up for online ordering and I don't know if they have it anyway. The problem with CC and CUSA is their interest rates are higher. I bought mine at CUSA.com with no interest for a year I think and added 2 lenses (24-85mm USM and 75-300 IS USM) with it for a total of around $2500. I did my application online and was approved immediately and ordered immediately. It was very fast. I got the camera a few days later. Since then I have added a 180mm macro lens and a 17-35mm wide angle lens.

Good luck in you quest for this great camera.
