I wasn't going to post here because I didn't actually build the gallery myself. I used oscommerce, an online cart system. I have more behind-the-scenes modifications than visual ones. If you were to go to their website and check out the demo, it doesn't look a whole lot different.

That said, I did change the layout of how items are presented. It used to be a list but I made it columns of 3. It seems to fit better for the gallery aspect of it.

I also use the site for selling actual products...in fact that was the original intent of the site. It just recently started pulling double-duty as a photo ordering system. Since I already had a cart in place, I figured whats the point of starting from scratch.

Please ignore the watermarks if you can...since it's for commercial purposes (ie selling for profit), I had to protect my work as much as I could. Racers were coming up to me and saying how great some of my shots were...and that they had saved 'em and printed 'em out. I stepped up security a little bit when I heard that - hence the watermarks and javascript. I know how you can still look through the code and such and still grab images but I'm hoping to at least curb MOST of the theft.

Anyway enough rambling on and on...

I quite like it and you have done well to build something that is so functional.

However, the mouseover sucks colour wise with that grey so you need to change your stylesheet.css. Also, the logo looks like a worm died! A better mouseover colour would be the red used in the logo.

Hope that is useful and welcome to POTN. Very detailed first post :-)

Haha thanks for helping out a newb Dave! I agree on that mouseover color and I've been intending to change it for oh about a year now. I'll try that red you suggested and see how it looks.
