continuous mode seems slow

I just got my camera and I'm a novice with it, so bear with me.

It seems really slow in continous mode, both regular and high-speed.

What is the best way to get the shutter to speed up in continuous mode? What are the best settings to use in continuous mode?

ksey,

the High Speed Continuous is the fastest way to go. This setting does not allow the preview of the image before taking the next shot, so it's really fast.
