Its probably frowned upon to put basically the same post in many sections, but this forum fits my art exactly. Check out newworldarts.bravehost.com and see what I mean.

In California, you could get strung up for squirting gasoline into running water.
Even an accidental spill results in the HazMat team being called out.

No, this is not accidental art, what are you talking about?

I can see that from the pictures of someone intentionally squirting gailing into a flowing creek. That's no accident. The person doing it ought to be stopped. Maybe someone can toss a match in upstream while you photograph that. Then you can be Stephen "Flare" Jones.

That's the point.
It is one thing to go out and shoot what's already been done, but it's a totally different thing to intentionally pour chemicals and pollutants into natural habitats. However nice the colours may be, it's not worth the damage that can be caused.
Natural parks are there for people to enjoy the beauty of nature, not to destroy it. It's probably even a federal offence to be pouring chemicals into rivers and streams, etc.

I love art , modern, renaissance, medieval,...paintings. scupture, photography, performing arts.....I am married to a very talented painter and her love for the arts inspired me years ago to keep an open mind regarding artistic expression. The new approaches to art are often misunderstood and need to be given some room to grow.
This is not the case with your approach.Your site indicates that you are introducing gasoline into natural streams:evil: . If so then this would be better described as Eco Terrorism. I am under the impression that this is just a bad joke or some experiment to get people angry. What you are doing is certainly controversial but its not art and it is probably criminal. And to add fuel to the fire  the images produced by this process aren't even very interesting... they look like photos of polluted water..or gas spilled on a driveway.. etc,,.I think you need a new vision and hopefully for your sake its not from behind bars. Take a couple of hours to introduce yourself to any post proceeing software ( doesn't have to be expensive) and you will be able to produce much more interesting images than what you are producing presently.

If that's the look you're going for why not get a big flat tub and recreate it in your house or something, then dispose of it properly??

this is truely criminal. not only to the enviroment but to the animals that drink from these streams. you are poisoning countless numbers for the sake of your "art'. utterly rediculous.

This might be art to some, but the consensus appears to be that it's irresponsible. I'm inclined to agree. You're going to have to come up with something better.
