Nice enhancement of their eyes. I like the high key. Lovely shot altogether.

well... like i said i was using the 50mm 1.8, and i had the f-stop set at 1.8 because it was very low light - so.. that's why the DOF is really tight on my daughter's face. ;)

Vey pretty! Both of them! :)
I like how the mom is sorta blurred, it makes my eyes go more towards the baby at first. I hope you frame that one and put it on your desk or something, its so cute!!!

Hey, I like this effect too. I think it is called 'cross processing' when people did this type of thing with film, but I've no idea how you do it with digital. Very effective!

i had it stopped all the way down at 1.8The term "stopped down" generally means going to a higher f/ number (smaller aperture).

I like the picture, but the color doesn't seem quite right. Not sure if it's a white balance issue or lack of saturation.

The thread is appropriately titled. :)

and the border is a script from This guy (http://www.jamescookphotography.com/sloppy/)

nice composition, i like the mom's blur and still brings out the blue in her eyes. nice yellowish effect. i think it'll be much better if you take out the yellow background on the upper right hand corner. it seems like it lines up with the baby's hairline.

the blue eyes are breathtaking, and go fantastically with the green and yellow tones.
