I gave my Father some portraits I'd done of my girls for Xmas. He proudly showed them off to our rellies on Boxing Day, with the comment "marvelous new camera - takes professional photos just like that in seconds".
I tried to arrange photo shoots for later at my place where I have a small studio but he then said "you've got the kit in the car - do it now and they can take it with them". As I cannot argue with my Dad about technical things, I caved in and agreed that as I had a small backdrop with me I would take some shots but would post them out later once I had done the processing.
For something thrown together in 5 min I am quite happy with the results.
