Sorry for another post but had to try and find some more globular springtails- this one was very obliging and allowed me to pan round him.
One slightly extreme 3-D springtail. For those that cannot view cross-eye stereograms- ther is a small animation of the shot sequence below. You will need to wait for this to load. Before anyone asks that's the end of it's spring wobbling around underneath :)

Great sequence in the gif Brian of a very interesting little bug. I can't view the 3D images though - maybe my eyes don't cross enough!

Maybe it is my eyes Brian, but the springtail on the left seems out of focus compared to the one on the right. Well done.

Thanks Nitsch,
Couldn't do a 360' pan the water pipe was in the way :)

Thanks Dennis,
Not your eyes, the pic on the left is not as sharp as the one on the right, but interestingly it does not seem to affect the sharpness of the 3-D image- guess the brain does it's own focus stacking :)

What an interesting little creature -- all the better for being in 3D! :-)

Thanks Balliolman, Turned out quite well even if the pic separation is probably too large (ie slightly exaggerated 3-D).

nice 3d effect on the crosseye one...............may i suggest tho making your 3d shots a little smaller, its bad enough trying to see them with your eyes crossed without having to scroll too ;)
