livejournal or flickr

anybody use either livejournal or flickr? (i hope it's okay to swap the usernames with each other, since a lot of people use either one of the sites as a photoblog. plus both sites have a lot of canon-specific groups/communities)

I've looked into quite a few blogging sites...though strangely enough, I'm not into it at all. But, crazy enough, my favorite of all of them as far as layout and user interface has to be MSN Spaces. I have to give MS's web devs credit...they know how to do some excellent page layout.

i can't get into msn spaces, because i don't have a log in. but both livejournal and flickr are viewable without a membership.

I have flickr but I found so many bugs in it so far it's almost hard to use and I'm going to switch.

I have a LiveJournal account, as do a few members. Lately I've been posting other crap in there, primarily due to the fact that I havn't done much shooting, and what I have done is still in the flash card, in the camera.

Just lazy I guess.

I believe you can upload 250 images total with the free service. The cost of the upgraded "pro" account is about 25 bucks and with that you may upload 2 GB per month. (I've never used more than 3% of this since I got my account.) The interface is very simple and user friendly.

what problems have people had with flickr.I just switched from the yahoo photos, because I was having trouble uploading.One thing I did like about yahoo was ou could email an invite to someone so only they could see the pics. With flickr if you make it semi private all friends or family can see it.well anyways heres mine
