Hello! Thank you for taking your time reading this post.
1) I took alot of pictures ever since I got my G3, and I have notice the noice level in pictures that were shot in low lighting environment are pretty visible. Is there anyway I can fix this problem? or reduce the noice?

2) When I took pictures at low lighting environment (for ex. restaurant at night), I could sometimes see the whole circle of light (the flash) on over exposed on them. Can anyone give me suggestion on which exposure level is best fit for low lighting environment?

Thanks alot guys

I use ISO 200.
Because my friend told me it fits for many situation.

Do you mind explaining to me the differences between ISO 10, 100, 200, 400?

thank you

The iso settings are 50, 100, 200, 400

You up the iso setting when shooting in dark or if you want to shoot at a faster speed, the downside is the higher the iso setting the more "noise" you get in the picture.

Not sure what shots you are trying in low level, if as you say involve environment, then photos I take are on M mode usually at iso 50 and shutter speed is about 8 seconds for starters, I experiment with the aperture range, they are on a tripod of course.

If trying people you will need extra speed and may need more iso. I also ask people to sit as still as they can to minimise "ghosting"

Night shots involve a lot of experimenting as you are never quite sure what the conditions are like and how much "burn" you are trying to get in the picture, but the results are worth it as you can get some fantastic results.

Thank you for clearing up the ISO question for me.

I shot this picture couple months ago and this is the reason I had to post the question here.
Shoot at
Tv mode at 4 seconds,
ISO 200,
M1 size with superfine.

The picture had already been edit in photoshop(resized), but the noise is visible
