Now that I am using RAW mode - (definite advantages here) - find I need more storage. Have a 512 run out of space too quick. Thinking 1gig. Any advice on where to buy? Compact Flash VS. others?
Thanks

Check these for Compact Flash cards;
www.newegg.com
www.pcmall.com
...and think about an X's Drive as well.
This is a small portable battery powered USB2 card reader with a laptop hard drive built in. Mine has a 30 gig hard drive and cost less than most 1 gig flash cards.
(total cost less than $200.00)
You pop your full card in,. press the copy button ,. and in a few minutes all the pics are copied to the drive.
The best set up involves having at least two memory cards, so while one is copying to the X-drive the other is back in your camera ready to shoot.
So get yourself at least another 512MB card as well,. (or go ahead and shoot for the 1gig,. as long as you allready have one card)
There are similar products to the X-drive on the market,. one will even let you see the images on a tiny LCD screen,. I think it is called Archos?,.. but the X's-drive is definately the most affordable.

Are no longer selling one with a harddrive preinstalled,.. but they do sell laptop drives you can install yourself in about 2 minutes. (thats what I did)
