An energy-saving compact flourescent bulb, too.

It's an interesting presentation, although the framing and negative space doesn't work for me as much as it could.

Still, cool presentation

Well the main issue is that IMO you've chosen a difficult subject to photograph. It's got a wonky shape that doesn't seem to want to fit into the Canon 3:2 widthxheight format. No matter where you place it, it's not going to line up nicely in any rule of thirds orientation, which becomes tricky. I personally would have shot it more from the front to get in more of the wall and less of the wasted space, but that's MY decision and relates to my style, it's not really any better or worse than what you've done.

As for the crop, I played around with it and didn't really have any luck recropping. I'd have just changed the angle of the shot really, but again that's me. Other people may see it differently, and that's neither right nor wrong.

I love the wall, its got a great color and a great grunge feel to it.

In, general, i like it.
