In our city it may be cheaper to just jack it up and take it to the new lot. First shot is preparation and the second is the arrival at the new place. Too bad about the rain! Both shots could use a little more contrast but I just left them as they came out of the A95.

My best guess is that it moves no more than 2 or 3 mph. The power company and telephone company has to be on hand to move wires so the house can pass through. I am sure the rain did not help the attitude of the workers on moving day!

There is one hostoric house here in Sacramento that has been moved twice, the last time was back to it's original location.

Jim ( I forget his avatar name) would love the shots as he is involved in this kind of house moving
he has showed some of his pictures on the forum
special victorian houses, needing plenty of TLC while being moved
for the life of me I cannot see how it works out either but , there you go
it seemly can be done and works out ok
