don't ya just hate them???

Anyway a web based company has asked me what I charge to shoot products.

So???? What do I charge?

Would you do it by the peice or by the hour. I have no idea how many products will be photographed.
The product pics will be used on their online catalogue and possibly print catalogue.

How many items do they need done and how often? What standard of images do they require? These are questions I would want to know before being able to give a quote.

You'll also find that the amount of local competition and the standard of your work will also affect the value of your time.

I would charge $100/hour, minumum of 2 hours going by what you said.

For drop-n-pops on white seamless, $30-50 each. For shots with multiple items which have to be arranged, shots with props, or shots where lighting or backgrounds will have to be changed between shots, I estimate how long each shot will take me and charge $200/hr.
