Figured I'd give this kind of thread a shot. More or less just a "Whatcha got planned for today" thread. On other boards I've tried it on, it can get pretty interesting.

Anyway, for me, lunch withmy parents shortly. And, then I think I intend to spend the rest of the day watching movies, playing Amplitude, and spending probably a few hours at my favorite coffee shop working on phototgraphy stuff (it would seem that lots of administrative-type work goes into starting up in the Glamour/Fashion world).

Sitting in the office at home with a stinking cold drinking LemSip and loading albums on my new iPod.

I guess you can all beat this for excitement :o.

Gotta run up to the race track and bicker over my fee, hopefully get paid without filing a lawsuit against 'em, then my niece is getting married at 3PM so I'll try to get pretty for that and head down to the church.

Still debating whether I'll take my camera. They already hired a photog. I don't wanna be pressured, or even asked, for prints. If I do take my camera it'd just be the 50 1.8 and black body. Definitely travel real light and catch a few grabs but that's all.

Just take the camera, no flash or anything. Not even a grip if you can help it. That way you won't look like a "pro" ;-) I used to do that with my 20D without the grip and my 50 1.4. Very discreet, but some great shots were had.

I'm just going to leave it at home. Knowing my aunt, she'd throw a fit or insist that I give her prints. I don't even like the woman.

Gonna take a short nap (woke up too early this morning) then hit a 2.5 hour drive to the hot tub store to get better prepared for the hot tub we just installed. (Still waiting for electricity to be done.) Then finish framing the rest of the prints I got done, and hang them, and watch a movie or two. Or maybe 1 movie and play with the 550EXs to try out some dual-flash on the cats.

I guess do the regular stuff, take the wife grocery shopping, regular clean up, catch some of the NFL playoffs.
To-night going to downtown Montreal to shoot some of the light displays, hope it warms up a bit it's now -15.

1. Drop off some pictures of the basketball game at the newspaper before the noon deadline.
2. Do laundry.
3. Make lunch for the kids.
4. Visit my companion, who is celebrating his birthday tomorrow. He is very ill and needs some TLC.

Recover from yesterdays POTN Kiwi Outing. And figure out where to develop the black and white film I photographed on a EOS 500, as the 20D is broken.

No other plans today. Apart from browse the forums, and perhaps find some old shots, and share them.

I took my camera after all. I ended up getting more shots than planned. Even a couple formals. Turns out their main gun was a friend of the family and all he had was the Dreb, kit lens, and 85 f/1.8. Was using the built-in flash. Here's some of what I got:

I suck at PP so all I did was crop, adjust contrast & levels where needed then USM for print and resize. That's it.

Cool photos.

Have to update my day plan now. Ended up watching the International Cricket - New Zealand vs. Sri Lanka (on right now), and also removing a few pages/pics from my website, as I'm registering it on a pro registrar, and don't need those personal shots on there ;)

cdi-ink: WHAT!!! Think about going to a family wedding without your camera!!!!! That's sacrilege. I would be hung up by my bootstraps if I did that.
Nice pictures, BTW

My day: Up, play with grandson, read the paper and happily see an engagement shoot photo that I did in November :) Grandson goes home at 1:00.
Do 3 loads of laundry, make beds and clean up around the house.
Turn on he Redskins-Tampa Bay game but at the 4th quarter, run out to a local ponding basin to watch the egrets come in to roost for the night.
Back home, now have to watch my Patriots and the Jags battle it out. When this game is over, I am headed out to the movies.

Wazzaa;

I only know a little about cricket; was it a 1 day, 5day or 30 day match?

I've never gone or watched Cricket with someone who inderstands the rules/nuances so I'l clueless.

I DID however teach pool (Not billiards or snooker; just 8ball) to an chinese born man working at our company. It was fun; but there are exceptions to everything from when to sink the 8 ball to when scratching loses the game to ball at hand... Ugh.

I need someone who speaks english (From the WEST side of the pond) to teach me. :)

Good morning everyone!

Today I spent all day messing around or designing my first wedding album (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=126365). Since it's technically tomorrow here (1.45am), in the coming day I will do some more work on the album, get a hair cut, and go out on a date! :)
