Date on picture

Hi!

I'm using a IXUS V3, and downloads the pictures to my PC with ZoomBrowser 4.0

At times I would like to include the shooting date (from the EXIF data) on the picture (which is JPEG). I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Although, I could of course do this manualy in Photoshop, I would prefer to get this done automaticaly by some software.

Your request seems like a good idea. However, I'm not aware of any software that does this either. You may care to look at mapivi (http://herrmanns-stern.de/software/mapivi/mapivi.shtml) though.
It doesn't do what you want right now - but you may be able to pursued the author to modifiy the program - or as you can get the source code, yourself or someone else? Who knows I might find time myself (but don't hold your breath!

But that seemed to be only for UNIX, and not much help for me.

Since most people are used to have this function on cameras (at least on the APS cams), I'll just hope something shows up one day that let you do this.

I find it strange that it function is not included in ZoomBrowser.... I seem to remember a friend with a digital Kodak camera could do this....
