color cast

I'm getting a strong green color cast to my D30 photos shot in the shade or overcast conditions. It doesn't seem to be the lens or filters causing the problem. As long as there's good light on the subject it isn't there.

Any ideas, did a search and didn't find anything on this particular problem.

Is it in Auto white balance mode? It sounds like perhaps the white balance wasn't set correctly. Is it the LCD screen with the color cast or is it visible on a monitor after download? Maybe check to see if your monitor is displaying colors correctly.

It seems to do it in auto WB and the cloudy WB also. I haven't tried a custom white balance setting yet. You can see it in the LCD. Its not the monitor.
